What to have ready
You don't need anything to call. If you can, a photo of the tree from the street, roughly how tall it is, what's near it (the house, the pool cage, the seawall, power lines) and what you want done will help us give you a faster answer. If it's a vacant lot, tell us if you've seen owls or a burrow. If a storm put it on the house and you've filed a claim, have the claim number handy.
What happens next
We'll set a time for an estimator to come out — usually within a day or two, faster after a storm — walk the lot, look at the tree, and leave you an itemized written price good for 30 days, with a note on any state or county rule that applies. No deposit is due until you've approved the price and we've scheduled the work.
